        This stand is being used inside our home, to hold a globe that is made of Gemstones. The combination is beautiful. I looked and looked for a stand that would suffice, and this was the only one I could find that was tall enough ( 45 in.). When we received it [...], we were very surprised at how sturdy it was, and the beauty of it. When you look for something you know you want, and have a slim choice to choose from ,so you go ahead and order it, how often when you receive it, does it become what you wanted perfectly?? THIS ONE IS!!
