    This saucer was purchased to house my large succulent wreath when I brought it inside for the winter. I now have it sitting on a window bench in a sunny south window, and the saucer is perfect for watering as it is deep and permits the wreath to pull water up into the moss from the bottom. The gauge of the tray is thick, so I am confident that my wooden bench is well protected from the effects of watering. I purchased a black saucer, and it look great against the greenery. I am very pleased with my purchase.

    This planter saucer serves it's purpose well and is medium duty. It's not likely to break like those flimsy thin plastic ones; however, it's just way too expensive for a small piece of molded resin. It costs much more than a nice flower pot. I planter saucer should not be more expensive that a flower pot. If you have money to burn, go for it, but I will not waste my money again on such an expensive item.

      Item: 33-Inch diameter, "Granite-Color" thick plastic planter saucer, for holding a large plant container/pot.

      I can't say that this size (33") makes for a cheap item, but it is of good quality and really does the job. Worth every penny.

      I needed these for some fruit trees (Myer lemon,
      Fig and Avocado) in large (30 & 40- gallon) fiber pots, AKA SmartPots, in a backyard pool/patio area with no lawnspace.

      Those cloth-like fiber pots are porous and plants love them. But they do drain fairly quickly.

      These wonderful HUGE saucers
      contain these large pots (or conventional plastic ones)with a few inches of leeway around the circumference, which, while still allowing for air circulation, also hold moisture in longer, reducing watering significantly.

      This is especially helpful during summers in hot & dry climates like Southern California inland valleys, where my mini "orchard" is located.

      The saucers look nice, and contain overspills,
      keeping my patio surface cleaner and drier.

      It would behoove the manufacturers to link themselves up with the fiber pot makers (SmartPots and DirtBags are the main 2), since these fine saucers go with the fiber Pots like Romeo & Juliet. Especially in hot, dry climates,
      where they are a Godsend.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
