This is exactly what I had in mind looking for a pot to grow fresh herbs. The material gives this natural feeling and the absence of ceramic coating makes it resistant to freeze cracks in the winter. Planting is easy thanks to the shaped opening. And your herbs won't mix this way ! I will for sure get more, I'm sure it'll be very nice with cactus !

I am very pleased with my jars. I will know more after I have them awhile. My hens and chickens look great in them and I think the quality of the jars are good. I would purchase from this company again, as I have been happy with all my purchases thus far.

I used this product to put other plants in it other than strawberries. Things that are great about is the number of holes, 9, per planter of this size. Aren't so great is that it does not have drainage and i added my own 2 inch wide pvc pipe with holes all the way around the length of the pipe before planting to allow for drainage for the inside of th eplanter to reach all the plants.

This is the first I have attempted to grow strawberries. The strawberry pots eliminate the back breaking job of weeding. Full of flowering strawberry plants, they are a beautiful sight to behold. I am thrilled with them! The only down side is that they are heavy, especially after watering them. I placed mine on an old weathered picnic table so they are perfect height for watering and harvesting strawberries. Glad as well for the tip of soaking the pots in the bathtub an hour before using them. This prevents the clay from taking water from your berry plants. Many have stated that the dirt washes away during watering but I have found a "sprinkle" type can helps this problem and to water the plants I water the top plants first(I have plants in the top as well as the six side openings)a little at a time and after it begins to drain down through I check the soil around the side plants for moisture to be sure they get a drink and have had no problem with soil being washed away. I also used a premium soil and watered them as I planted so the soil was already moist by the time I put the last in the top holes. I am pleased as well to find out that I can winter them in the pots, in my garage; then bring them out next spring after the threat of frost to enjoy another season of strawberries. What a wonderful way to have an abundance of fresh strawberries all summer. It doesn't get any easier that this!
