Just what I needed for a small side table. I'll leave them nested except when we have company and need extra spots for drinks. The top, being slate, is a little rough ... not intended as a writing surface! They do have rather sharp corners ... we don't have small children, so that's not a concern for us. Was a little concerned about how sturdy they might be, but with the slate top, they are surprisingly heavy and solid!

I am very pleased with the nesting tables we purchased recently. I had bought the matching magazine rack table previously and that, too, is very nice. It is very good quality, very sturdy. I have two of the nesting tables in front of the couch and one on the side. I am most pleased.

I really like the look of this set and it blends in nicely with the laminate floor. Only negative is the uneven slate surfaces near the edge which creates a protruding flange but not much of a problem

I love this set of stacking tables. They are very heavy duty yet look great in a variety of settings. My last set of wooden tables all began to lose legs from being pushed and pulled against carpet when nesting them. That won't happen to this set! They arrived shortly after I ordered them and needed no assembly. The only drawback I can see is that the corners are pretty sharp, so if you have little ones crawling around, you will want to be very cautious when using them.
