About Cedar Wood
Cedar wood is lightweight and resistant to both cracking and moisture rot. The oils of this resilient wood guard against insect attack and decay, and their distinctive aroma acts as a mild insect repellant. Cedar is a dependable choice for outdoor furniture, either as a finished or unfinished wood. Over time, unfinished cedar left outdoors will weather to a silvery gray patina. This natural process does not compromise the strength or integrity of the wood.
Another great aspect of cedar is its environmental effect - which is minimal. A renewable resource, cedar wood emits low greenhouse gases. So rest assured knowing that your beautiful cedar furniture is a green choice, too!

I assembled this bench by myself: all the parts were there and the instructions were fairly clear. I have only two complaints: the wood could have been in a bit better shape - there was some minor splitting on the legs - and two of the legs weren't marked correctly for assembly, but it only took a minute to re-mark them. Otherwise, for the price I paid, I got an excellent little multi-use table.

a little disappointing
Required an inordinate amount of sanding, and wood was extremely dry and prone to splintering. Don't believe all of the wood was cedar, as promised. Dimensions were off according to description on-line.

Comments about Cedar Creek Cedar Wood Gardenia Potting Bench:
The wood is so thin it reminds me of packing crate wood. Pooly made. No nails but staples. Parts were labeled wrong. Way way over priced.. It should be about 50.00 and no more. Very lite and will blow away...dont do it.

Comments about Cedar Creek Cedar Wood Gardenia Potting Bench:
after some trial and error was able to put it together okay...leg assembly can be a little wobbly so be careful...is cedar and will be sealing it to keep the color...actually would give it 3 1/2 stars if could

Comments about Cedar Creek Cedar Wood Gardenia Potting Bench:
I put this on my breezeway, right next to my kitchen door to household tools and toolbox, drill, and charger. There is not a planned space in my kitchen or cleaning closet for these things, and it was inconvenient for a 70 year old crippled lady to hobble down to the cellar or out to the garage every time I needed to do some little chore.
